Oh, and that book sounds great (from your yesterday post)... and I was wracking (racking?) my brain trying to think of cuties my kids called things when they were young (from Monday's post) ... Geez. All I remember is that Laura would say, "Let's turn ott the light."
And that short, short story was clever! (I'd read it before - or one very like it.) (You're good, Beth.) (There's a 'gotcha' always at the end!)
I'm a writer. I enjoy beauty in all it's various forms and often find beauty where many would not see it. I love to express myself through the written word as well as music, drawing, cooking, embroidery, and photography. History fascinates me, especially American history, but typical me, my love of history is not about the events, but about the people who lived through those times. I find antique shops places of inspiration, for each item has a person or family connected to it and therefore holds a unique story.
You know how to capture beauty!
