Tucked inside an early 1890's notebook composed by poet G. K. Chesterton was this poem. It's SO me...
"You say grace before meals.
All right.
But I say grace before the play and the opera,
And grace before the concert and pantomime,
And grace before I open a book,
And grace before sketching, painting,
Swimming, fencing, boxing, walking, playing, dancing;
And grace before I dip the pen in ink."
So, what about you?
What are some things that cause you to spontaneously give thanks?

Just today I spontaneously gave thanks (in silence) for my little great nephew Andrew - who, when he saw me yelled, 'Aunt Nancy!!!!'
I so like that poem by G.K. Chesterton. I had never read it before.
It's wonderful.
And so are you.
And I agree: that poem is SO YOU!!!!

Nancy!!!!!!!
I have missed you so much1 We've both been way too busy.
If little Andrew greeted me that way, I'd melt into a puddle on the floor - even if he used your name, LOL.
Have a Happy Thanksgiving, and give my love and hugs to all - especially you.
